evozon team at Meet Magento Romania

Evozon attends the first Magento event in Romania: Meet Magento . Cluj is the host of the first such conference in Romania, where we proudly took part as sponsors and members.

Being very fond of this eCommerce platform and working on large enterprise systems and online shops, it was only natural for our colleagues working on Magento projects to attend this conference.

The conference offered 2 simultaneous tracks, a B2B track and a development track. They were spot on for both back-end and front-end developers, as well as project managers and QA professionals.

Local and international speakers and companies provided the audience with some interesting case studies, strategies for building loyalty and shared lots of inspiring experiences from developers and business people.

Among the topics presented and discussed on the business agenda, we must mention: Using Vagrant for Magento development, Offline – Online Commerce, Beyond Building Features – Agile Business Model Development with Lean Startup and, of course, other Magento commerce-related topics.

On the developer’s agenda, what caught our attention was the Magento 2 presentation, the Magento Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting or the Accessibility and Maintainability as foundations for Responsive Design.

Meet Magento

The Meet Magento conferences started in 2009, in Leipzig. They are now organized in 14 European countries, with plans to go global in 2015. The event is destined for merchants, system integrators, developers, and service providers who want to get independent information about Magento and e-commerce.

Evozon’s involvement with Magento

Evozon is a Magento Silver Partner for 2 years now. We’ve been working with it for much more than that, building and delivering high-quality, scalable and robust online shops. Among the main technical development directions of our PHP Department are Magento and Symfony2.

We’re looking forward to attending more local Magento events and being part of the community’s growth!
