Effective Communication Leads to Successful Projects

Failed attempts at software outsourcing are largely attributed to poor communication. Evozon has developed effective processes for communication, configuration management and issue tracking to facilitate visibility by the customer. The company has well-defined communication and issue resolution procedures to ensure consistency in project requirement interpretation, coordination with the customer and effective project management.

Alongside the process are the tools required; polycom communications, Microsoft live meeting and lync, Skype with camera on each developers desk and telepresence ‘robots’ that allow stand-ups to occur around the agile wall or whiteboard and whenever you need a quick talk.

Since Evozon is a “half” Australian company, English is its official working language. This makes Evozon an excellent partner for English speaking customers.

Agile Development Methodology

These days most customers do not have the time to fully document their requirements or they change frequently due to changing market conditions, customer feedback or the business model. This makes Agile development the preferred approach at Evozon. In the age of the lean start-up you need an agile partner that can deliver a minimal viable product to a full-scale enterprise class system.

However the final choice on the project methodology rests with the customer and the team, which means we can apply RUP or Waterfall when necessary and even Kanban where it fits.

If your project has complex or fast changing requirement a member or members of our team can travel to your site for a period of time. Typically we travel to your site or vice versa at he beginning of the project and at other times as needs be.

Pricing Models

Most retain a core team

Most of the time customers retain a core team and steadily increase it in many cases.  Some peaks will occur from time to time and we cam provide flexibility in the contract for that. Our typical profile for a project is; a part-time CRM with a Scrum Master (might be shared among smaller projects) and of course the team which always includes testing. The CRM can ensure transparency on more than the development progress, enabling fully open communication between the companies.  More and more the effectiveness of he teams’ performance and satisfaction depends on a one team approach which is fully transparent and the CRM facilitates this for us.
