Test Automation Engineer

• Review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications
• Build, implement, execute and maintain static and automated test scripts
• Choose and use test design techniques, automation tools, test management tools according to the product needs
• Perform multiple test types at different test levels
• Identify, report and track defects proactively, using tools like JIRA
• Automate test scripts in a reusable and maintainable manner
• Integrate test automation in the build deployment process
• Investigate and report results to team and stakeholders
• Develop and execute performance tests as needed
• Proactive in project meetings
• Perform technical presentations/demos/workshops
• Constantly improve the way of working

• Experience with Test Automation (API Testing is a plus)
• Minimum 3 years experience in software testing
• At least 2 year hands-on experience in Automation testing
• Programming skills in Java, C# or JS
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Fast learner, ability to learn independently and with guidance
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

Our testing community has a very strong focus on a highly technical and automated approach to testing. And testing we do, not because we don’t do quality assurance too, but we do more than that. Our accent falls on the solution and the choice of the testing tech and approach is determined by the project and context, after careful assessment.

The Evozon testing culture is based on data driven tools and an Agile approach. We have left behind the factory testing school, which puts an emphasis on procedures, and we try to direct and inspire our clients from the more “old school testing” to a context driven approach, also following good practices for real and effective testing.

As services we offer manual, automation, performance and basic security testing too, all the usual checks (MySQL injections, etc) following OWASP recommendations and good practices. As for tech stack you’ll find us using a large variety of tools, mostly open source, and programming languages, such as Java, C#, Ruby, Perl, JavaScript or Python, but not limited to.
