EvoDMS - Document Management System

The EvoDMS application is a professional document management system, ideal for converting company printed documents to electronic form and for storing any number of company documents in a searchable database. The product is especially useful for companies which get a significant volume of documents in printed and/or image form. Images are processed with an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) application and converted to data format, so that database searches can be performed on them as well.

Facile scanning, storing and retrieving of text and image data

Our application scans company documents, stores them in a database both as text files (pdf format) and images (jpeg, tif, bmp, png) and enables its users to easily retrieve the data either by browsing or through keyword searching. Basic features for image manipulation (flipping, rotating, inverting colors, etc) are also included.

Full coverage of document types

The system can handle any types of documents, from regular invoices to highly sensitive financial reports. Data can be scanned either from printed or from electronic documents (files), meaning the application can basically deal with any document format.

Intuitive, tree data structure

The scanned documents are stored in a tree folder structure with the 3 top levels (Company, Department and Project) controlled by us and the users with admin status. Regular users have control over the next levels (Category, Document, Page).

Security of data

The group/user permission module allows system administrators to secure sensitive data and thus minimize the risk of unauthorized access.

User friendliness

The Windows like interface and logical structure of the application, makes it a convenient tool for any employee with basic computer skills.

Easy to localize

The application is currently available in English, French and Czech and can be localized for any market.
