Robert Masic - Founder and Co-owner

With a backround rich enough to make many IT experts envious, Robert is undeniably a gold mine for Evozon. A computer science expert by formation, Robert has an insatiable hunger for knowledge and a constant urge to stay at the forefront of technology and to innovate.

His academic history with computers began in 1982, when his school Aquinas College CBC was the first in Australia to dedicate a class full of computers to computer programming. Robert was hooked! After graduation he enrolled in a Bachelor of Applied Science at QUT in Brisbane, where he started his science degree in microbiology and biochemistry and then majored in computer science.

To build upon the knowledge acquired in college Rob has taken the following professional courses:
MCSE, MSD Visual Basic, CNA, CNE, Compaq ACE, Compaq Service Certification, Compaq Server Technologies, Compaq Server Certification, Apple Service Administration, Macintosh Service Course and numerous other product training courses.

In 1986 Robert with several other students at QUT started Technology Enterprises which provided services to the students and wider community. Robert took the company and evolved it into a consultancy and software development company that now provides services to customers worldwide. The following excerpt from the company's customer list can give you an idea of how successful Technology Enterprises has been:

Customer: Confidential, Australia
Project details: Technology Enterprises provided consultancy services and performed the upgrades to the communications networks, namely the connection to the Internet and related services as well as network engineering roles that included server cluster and network architecture specifications. They have also developed solutions for a discount voucher system using ASP and other network applications with Visual Basic. This was all part of a 3.5 million dollar network systems and application upgrade. The customer had been so impressed by the annual cost savings of the implemented solution that they flew over from the United States to Australia to discuss the details of the implementation process.

Customer: Confidential, Australia
Project details: Technology Enterprises was employed to lead and expand the IT division. Its key roles were to provide top level support both for internal engineers and corporate customers while providing direction for the IT division as well as pre-sales technical architecture and support. This company had twenty support technicians.

Customer: ReadNotify.com, Sydney, Australia
Project details: This company was the NSW winner in the Telstra Small Business Ideas Competition in 2002. Their web-site is highly successful with thousands of paying subscribers. Technology Enterprises was responsible for the development of the ASP and then ASP.NET driven HTML user interfaces and Visual Basic helper applications.

With the increasing pressures on prices from developing countries such as India, China, Bangladesh, Russia or Romania, Robert decided to move his company's development center to Romania and leave only the consultancy part of the business back in Australia. The rest is history.

He is now not only the Australian partner at Evozon Systems but also married to an adorable French woman who has stakes in a Cluj-based company.

Gabi Cretu - Founder and Co-owner

Gabi is equipped with a solid formal training in computer science and significant experience in project management. He is also rapidly acquiring the knowledge and experience that make an accomplished general manager. After his graduation from a program in computer science, Gabi spent four years learning the secrets of the IT arena as a software developer, team leader then project manager. While working as a project manager with prestigious companies from Western Europe, he realized he could lead not only projects but also his own company and decided to start an IT business together with several developers.

Gabi's technical expertise, excellent management, leadership and linguistic skills allowed him to set the foundations of a successful business in next to no time.

In his search for new business opportunities, Gabi has paid special attention to market niches, to fields with promising growth potential that are good matches for the company's resources. Driven by intelligence, inquisitiveness, ambition and respect for the others, Gabi has achieved a great deal in next to no time.

Tudor Precup - Marketing Manager
 
Tudor's diverse background enables him to analyze each problem from a variety of perspectives and to devise ingenious strategic approaches. Benefiting from an extensive experience and formal training in engineering, education and management, Tudor has been instrumental in Evozon's most recent change in strategy, which calls for a stronger emphasis on the signals coming from the market, on shaping a clear company identity and on bringing customer perceptions as close as possible to the real self of Evozon.

By constantly focusing on meeting the customer's needs, Tudor is working hard toward implementing an effective business model at Evozon and thereby hopes to contribute to a significant increase in the overall performance of the firm and to marked increases in revenues.

As a Masters student and then a lecturer in the Hospitality Management Department of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Tudor has become an accomplished specialist in strategic management, marketing, and research methodology - the very basic ingredients of Evozon's development. Tudor's ongoing commitment to breaking the fetters of convention and challenging the assertions of others often lead to innovative solutions, opening the way for progress.
